The safety of our children is the highest priority for every resident of Saratoga County.

As a parent first I know the importance of school safety. As Sheriff, I will ensure that our School Resource Officer (SRO) program remains a cornerstone of school safety and a program other agencies envy. I will work closely with our school districts to keep costs manageable, ensuring they can continue to afford these critical safety measures. Beyond maintaining affordability, I will seek ways to deliver savings to schools, allowing them to allocate additional resources toward other vital needs within their districts.

As one of the key figures in establishing the SRO program, I bring firsthand knowledge of what it takes to build a successful program and select the right officers to serve in our schools. My five years as a school resource officer and school liaison provided me with a deep understanding of the role’s challenges and rewards. Together we will work with students to gain trust and foster community relationships. Our goal is to make kids safe and to show them that police are here to help and to be mentor. I am not just a believer in the program—I’ve lived it.

Together, we will ensure that Saratoga County’s schools remain safe places for learning, growth, and opportunity.
